Celsus UK Founder Paul Baker Sets Sail for Retirement
After charting the course for Celsus UK for over two decades, founder Paul Baker is now setting his sights on open waters and a well-earned retirement
Back in 2002, Paul launched Celsus UK with the vision of becoming a trusted distributor of car audio, marine audio, and electronics. Fast-forward 20+ years, and that vision has become reality, with Celsus proudly supporting installers, retailers, and partners across the industry.
A year ago, Paul’s eldest son Mark stepped into the role of Managing Director, ensuring a smooth handover that’s kept everything shipshape (pun intended). With Mark at the wheel — and supported by the rest of the team — Celsus is well positioned to continue growing while keeping that same personal touch that Paul made the cornerstone of the business.
As for Paul? Retirement means more time doing what he loves most: sailing. Swapping the helm of the business for the helm of a boat, he’s excited to spend his days on the water — and maybe enjoying slightly calmer seas than those of the distribution world.
On behalf of everyone at Celsus, we’d like to thank Paul for his incredible contribution and dedication over the past 20 years. His passion, values, and drive have shaped not just the company, but the people within it.
