For many years aftermarket headunits have been equipped with an industry standard ISO plug, a consistent connection designed with the aim of making installing a new stereo a little easier. While certain vehicles do contain this same connection the majority of modern vehicles have now opted for a different, model specific connector. In these situations there are ISO leads, short leads that will connect between the industry standard ISO plug and the vehicle, allowing for an easy plug and play installation.
