The updated component systems improve upon the already impressive sound of its predecessors, while cosmetic updates bring simple elegance to their appearance.
The Maximo Ultra MKII components are designed for easy installation in the factory locations of most vehicles with excellent off-axis dispersion, high resolution, and crisp detail to overcome some of the acoustic limitations of original speaker placement.
The 1-inch (25mm) soft dome tweeter and a 2.5-inch (51mm) midrange are both developed using Morel’s EVC technology for high-power handling, and naturally sounding response, and the 6.5″ woofers utilize large 1-inch diameter voice coils and high-grade ferrite magnet motors capable of excellent bass performance for that instantly recognizable warm Morel sound.
This set (specifically the 603A) is supplied without crossovers. The 'A' in the SKU stands for 'Active.' If you prefer to run them from a single amplifier channel, we also offer the same kit with crossovers - identical part number, just without the 'A'.
