KS 6.5" (160 mm) Component Speaker System

Though listed as a 6.5” speaker, the KSS6504 will fit mounting locations designed for either 6” or 6.5” speakers.

Internally dampened polypropylene cones and durable rubber surrounds assist the woofers in creating precise midrange and bass, while high-quality silk-dome tweeters deliver natural, detailed highs.

Experience your music as a component system with separate tweeters, or as a high-end coaxial system. The woofers’ removable bullet-style phase plug is replaced with a special adapter, allowing the 25 millimeter, silk-dome tweeters to rotate and tilt. You get more system design options and superior off-axis performance.

KS Components are convertible!
What does that actually mean? In some installs, a separate tweeter (component setup) is the best choice for sound staging and imaging. In others, a coaxial setup where the tweeter is mounted directly to the speaker may be more practical for easier installation or factory replacement.
With KS Components, you get both options in one system. We include all the mounting hardware you need to convert the speaker into a coaxial configuration whenever the install calls for it.
