The ASB003 is the ultimate choice when it comes to speaker baffles. Unlike standard 1 piece baffles the ASB003 utilises a silicone surround along with an egg wave foam back to provide more sound absorption and protection from water where required. The result is less backwave distortion and therefore an increase in the sound quality of your audio system, as well as an improvement to the bass response allowing lower frequency sounds to reproduce more accurately. We would expect to see a 3dB increase in volume just from the enclosure sealing tightly around the speaker and channelling audio back into the cabin.

The silicone outer provides increased durability over standard foam baffles while producing a watertight seal between the speaker and panel, resulting in a reduction in water and dust ingress behind the speaker.

The ASB003 is suitable for automotive, marine, caravan or home installation.

These can be used with speakers designed to operate within a small space, they are not intended for use with infinite baffle speakers.
