Vehicles can be based on a resistive or CAN protocol. The easiest way to confirm is to remove the factory radio and check if the harness has a 12V ignition feed included.
Vehicles with an ignition feed are based on the resistive protocol and will use a resistive ISO lead (AIS2157) or stalk control adaptor (ASC2654).
Vehicles without an ignition feed are based on the CANbus protocol and will use a CANbus stalk control adaptor (ASC2684A). CANbus vehicles use the standard ISO lead (AIS2157) but require a 12V ignition feed to be run to the new radio.
Titanium and Titanium X vehicles have an additional screen in the instrument cluster called Convers+. The screen functionality is lost when the factory radio is removed.
