Grand Voyager (Gen 4 Facelift) 2002-2007
The required wiring harness depends on whether the vehicle is amplified or not. Vehicles with the non-amplified system require the standard ISO lead.
Vehicles with the Infinity or Boston Acoustics amplified system require the amp bypass lead. Amplified systems can be identified by the logo on the tweeter housing.
Amplified vehicles made in 2005 and before use a 12V signal to turn on the amplifier.
Amplified vehicles made from 2005 onward use a data bus protocol called J1850 to turn the car amplifier on. Removing the original radio disables this protocol, requiring an amp bypass lead to then remove the amplifier from the system.
The amplifier is installed in the rear right quarter panel behind rear right speaker.
The dash will only fit a single DIN radio.
