Meet the new Wāvtech LINK4+, the next generation of Wāvtech's popular LINK4 line output converter. It retains all the features of the original model but introduces some exciting improvements, including AutoBASS, enhanced adaptive loading and adjustable matrix summing.

What's new with the LINK4+?

AutoBASS – Automatically restores lost bass

Many factory stereos reduce bass as you increase the volume, which can leave your upgraded sound system lacking low-end performance. AutoBASS automatically detects and corrects this bass reduction, helping you get the bass response you expect from your new audio system.

Adaptive Loading – Better compatibility with factory stereos

Some factory stereos require additional electrical resistance to operate correctly when aftermarket equipment is connected. The LINK4+ features intelligent adaptive loading that automatically adjusts to the vehicle's requirements, removing the need for additional resistors in supported installations.

Matrix Summing – Combines factory audio signals

Modern vehicles often split their audio signals across multiple channels, meaning you don't always get a complete audio signal from a single output. Matrix summing allows the LINK4+ to combine these separate signals into one clean, full-range output. Adjustable +/-6dB level controls also allow you to fine-tune the results.

Designed for modern vehicles

The LINK4+ is built to work with today's increasingly complex factory audio systems. It's compatible with Start-Stop vehicles, so your music won't cut out when the engine stops at traffic lights and restarts.

Its flexibility is another major advantage. The LINK4+ can be configured in several different ways:

• 4-channel input to 4-channel output: Retain four separate audio channels when adding amplifiers.
• 2-channel input to 4-channel output: Duplicate a two-channel factory signal to provide four outputs.
• 4-channel input to 2-channel output: Combine four factory audio channels into two outputs, while retaining two channels for additional subwoofer level control.
• 3.5mm AUX input: Connect an additional audio source, such as a phone or portable music player.

Few 4-channel line output converters offer this level of flexibility.

Multi-Function Remote Included

The LINK4+ comes complete with Wāvtech's Multi-Function Remote Level/Source Control, giving you convenient control over your audio system from the driver's seat.

Depending on your configuration, the remote can be used for:

• Master Volume: Control the overall volume of your aftermarket audio system.
• Subwoofer Level: Independently adjust your subwoofer output.
• AUX Volume: Adjust the volume of your connected auxiliary source.
• Source/Function Select: Switch between available functions.

The master volume function is particularly useful in factory audio systems that automatically adjust their equalisation depending on vehicle speed.
