This 3.3mm thick plastic adaptor gives you the option of transferring your favourite aftermarket speakers from your old car to a new one even if they are too small to drop in the existing location. For example, use this part in conjunction with the vehicle specific speaker adaptor SA1033-200 to install high quality 6.5" speakers from Kicker in Volkswagen and Audi vehicles with the larger OE aperture.
