Different rooms within the home often have their own soundtrack, a movie is playing in the living room, the radio is on in the kitchen, and the sound of tools fills the garage. This is fine when in separation, but if the noise bleeds from room to room it can be difficult to enjoy what you’re listening to.
Dynamat sound barriers help by blocking noise transfer across their membrane, helping to isolate each room and transform them into their own habitat.
Dynil and Dynapad are large sheet materials that reside within stud walls or under the carpet respectively. Dynil is installed behind plasterboard to stop noise transfer between adjacent rooms. Dynapad is high-tech carpet underlay which reduces noise bleed between floors.
If you are installing speakers either into a wall or ceiling then Dynamat home speaker enclosures are a must have. They install in the cavity behind the speaker giving a sealed enclosure to help the woofer perform at its best, while also blocking sound from travelling to the next room.
